Stainless steel keelguard

The stainless steel keelgaurd on this halmatic looks hard wearing.
Anyone know where I cant get one?

Nope,

looks very bling bling.... that boat looks like a tarts boudoir. I've a keelshield on mine does the job,probably a lot less money as well.

I'll be keen to see if anyone does know,


I think all RNLI ribs have stainless guards.

Speak to Roguewave. He has a boat with something similar. Not as blingy as the one your showing but robust none the less.

They're an option on Hurricanes. I priced one for mine years ago... I think it was about $5000. I opted for the $199 3M version!

I recall the dealer telling me that they are very heavy and will effect performance to some extent...

The one he has looks very light weight. Only thing that put me off it was that it appears to be screwed in to the hull.

Something like that isn't that hard to fabricate yourself if you've got the know-how and the right machine. I was going to make something similar from 1mm stainless on mine last year but the 10'x8" length of s/s sheet I had got damaged when I moved house
