Sounds like you went to Berthon .

As you go into Lymington the Yacht Haven is the Marina to port immediately after you enter the 4 Knot speed limit at the break watery sea defence thing. Turn to Port just before row C if I remember correctly. Fuel is by the marina buildings. Round about 85p when we were there in September.

Cheers

There are two place in Lymington to fuel up. One is a floating tank thingy opposite the ferry as you said and I think the other is in the first marina as you come into the river (on your left). I believe first one may be cheaper.

Hope that helps!

Cheers

Yes, there are two places to refuel. Lmington yach Haven is the best - the first marina you come to on entering the river, just B4 you go into the 4knot lmit. The other is Berthon and is almost opposite the ferry docking station. That one you can refuel on from both side. The Yacht Haven fuel point is actually on the quay with a mooring pontoon.

Hi,

Thanks once again for all your help it is most appreciated.

Rogue Wave: I maybe in touch with you regarding overnight as I hadn't thought that far yet and supposed at this time of year most marinas would have a free space. I'll send you a PM.

Hi guys,
I no this is an old topic, but, for future ref Berthon is actually cheaper than the Haven. Also i dont no about the rest of you (bar the hight of the refuller) i find Berthon easier to use as it is practically in the middle of the river, so you pull up, fuel, and away you go... with out the hassel of having to go all the way through the marina to get to the fueling dock (as at the Haven) You may or may not agree but i just thought i would get my say in. Thanks x
