Andre - looking at some of the fancier leisure oriented boats it appears they might tend to have two tone tubes... ...not sure how easy that is to do.

I wouldn't go for black tubes/ hull - makes it look too much like a military spec boat...might suit some on here but not sure it would be best to attract leisure buyers.

I think yellow / grey or grey / red are distinctive colours with white hull. Depends on the effect you want. To me black is agrressive / sinister. I know its\ common but a dark blue often looks stylish (Isupposes that's why it's a common colour!)

Red / orange tube makes it look life a safety boat, many really bright colours look frivalous or plain wrong (e.g. green / turquoise IMHO).

If is a difficult balance to be head turning in the right way.

What statement are you wanting to make....brash, dependable, fun...et cand what's the target market, as that market will have buying preferences on age / income group etc...

Hi Andre,

Take your point that dark blue may fade. Call me biased but people do say ribcraft look quite commercial but I think light blue like mine softens the commercial look plus there is less noticeable fade finished with fake teak decking

After some hot discussions and taking under account the comments / ideas on the forum over the weekend this is the outcome and tomorrow I will confirm the order to the factory for:

Parker 750 RS with Verado 250
Hull – Ruby Red, RAL 3003
Deck / anchor locker / engine well – Cream , RAL 9001
Pods – Cream, RAL 9001
Patrol Console – Cream, RAL 9001
Upholstery – close to Ruby Red with Cream piping
Tube : ORCA Antracite 866 with two stripes of flat rubbing strake in black
external lifeline and 3x non-slip patches on the top per side in the boarding area only. These are the Parker special ones in black . I may consider internal lifeline from console right up to Samson post as this is a good safety feature

Natural teak deck

Samson post
A Frame c/w Nav lights

Lowrance VHF radio LVR-250
Lowrance HDS-10 Chartplotter / sounder
Compass
Echomax radar reflector MIDI 230

What do you think?

Sounds fabulous, do you have any pictures of a Parker with that hull and tubes colour combination?

Sounds good. Any reason you stayed away from the Lowrance Link8 VHF with AIS onboard?

Chris , no this would be the first one. Saying that there is a Parker Baltic Cruiser on the shop floor with Antracite tubes and I am told the 750RS will look good with the Ruby Red hull and those tubes

It sounds a great colour combination. What max HP is the 750RS hull rated to?
