The camber slip in Portsmouth is by far the best slip around here. Its been free for about the last six months or so, and continues to be so: chavs keep breaking into the coin collecting box thing. A friend of mine caught the last lot on video camera - they've been to court over it. Even if/when they do fix it, it is still only 2.50 to launch your boat which I think is fantastic value. If you pay a visit to Portsmouth sailing club for a pre-trip drink you can get a parking permit for just 1, and that allows you to park anywhere in Old Portsmouth for upto 12 hours.

That's worth knowing-ta!

The only thing Camber is missing really is a flush hose.

i agree it is the best slip around, watch the real low tides cause the dropoff on the end is straight down
