Got no idea! It's the marina's car park, so you'd better ask them I guess

Thanks for all your advice - we launched from Hamble Point Marina (the tide times were not ideal for Haslar this morning, so that's another trip) and wandered up the Hamble and played in the Solent although it was quite windy!

HI I am planning a trip to Portsmouth with my rib.
I have seen 3 or 4 slips on the launching bit of the forum.
Here are my options.
Camber Dock- looks like a good slip. any info?
Langstone Harbour Entrance- map looks off. which slip is this one.?
Eastney Beach- Like the previous one which slip is this. any info? pros/cons??

Also looking for a camping site fairly close.

we are coming down from Daventry so straight down the A34

The only one that I'd consider out of these three is Camber Dock. The other two I'd only suggest for a SIB unless you have local knowledge.

Alan's suggestion of Northney would work well. It will take you about 40 minutes of slow bimbling to get to the open sea but it's a pleasant trip and means you don't need to drive into Portsmouth.

Another option is HISC, they have accommodation, parking and slips. Being right inside Chichester Bar is very handy too.
