SOC update

SOC had a great stop and service in North Carolina yesterday. Everyone at Cape Fear Yacth's were extremely helpful and professional. Everything went like clockwork. The crew all are in good spirits and all are eager to see family and friends, the green grass of home and plate of Bangers' and Mash. But most important, to finish their run round the World, one hell of an accomplishment. Film is being devloped and pictures will follow.
Cheers...zap

Tube check...

The only spot that needed attention was on the Bow, and just a small separation that needed repair, the first layer of hypalon , not the tube itself...other than a few friction rub patches and one small puncture in Russia, the tubes are in good shape as well.

Great shots Zap... how fantastic is that, through the power of rib.net and the SOC web-site, you were able to meet the guys and take some photographs for all of us to check out back here. They look in good spirits (oops, pardon the pun!) and I am sure it was exciting for you to be there too?!

A brilliant report Neil.
Thanks for looking after The Lads.
Let's hope it's all "downhill" from now on.
