We had a Delta that had lifelines that had a spring carabiner on each end onto D rings, it also had the rope running through 10mm ID smooth fuel line.

This kept the life line down a bit more and made it easier to grab.

Our new Ribcraft has one or two strands of the rope inside the D ring, not sure how they did this, either unlay the whole rope or slit the D ring bend to open it then close after the rope is through.

New boat is here, very happy!

Watched fireworks anchored in Belfast lough last night and off to Lough Erne today!!

Sometimes a little knowledge is worse than none at all....
