Console is painted with normal 1-k Paint, since there was already Gelcoat on it.

The boat will be painted in 2-K paint.

If you only want to repaint it, Flowcoat is a slight overkill.

The bolts for the Fuel Filter, glued into the Transom

The Tubes have been glued on! I used CT1 Adhesive, and it worked a treat! Now just have to wait.

Theoretically the boat would actually float and stay dry inside now so the Avon is finally a real, proper boat again

I wasn't home this weekend, so my dad continued a bit on the boat

Console has been screwed down with foam between the deck and the console to stop it from making noises

Motor has also been put on, there's a new transom protection thing made from aluminium.
We've ordered a 40l tank, that will go between the transom braces, giving us 74 miles range on WOT.

Anti-Ventilation Plate sits under the keel line, so no ventilation probs

They will stay like that.
They are painted 4 times with special hypalon paint, the first two layers are easy to get off, the other two are a hell of a job to remove, and I simply don't have the patience for that.

Maybe a retube in a few years..

Tank has arrived, 42l, will be positioned between the transom supports and held in place by a "cage" arrangement.

On we go.

Modified the Trailer a bit so the whole boat won't move foreward slightly every time I brake.

Transom is done, everything has been screwed/glued into place, the engine sacrifical plate with 1,5'' offset to starbord as stated for 50HP engines in the Manual.

the console with the Tach and Carlingswitches for the Pump & Choke

Tomorrow the Engine& Console will be mounted, just missing longer battery & throttle cables, then she's good to go

yeh I know what you mean, are you going to spray the deck with some sort of non slip textured finished or something like that as its going to be slippery as heck left like that. i do congratulate you on persevering with it!
Personally i would have put 2x25litre carryable fuel tanks as not all moorings/locations have fuel and the 50 litre fuel tank is not carry-able full of fuel. just my thoughts!
