Round the IOW - SATURDAY 18 MAY

Unfortunately I have had to pull out of the planned Round the Island Adventure on Sunday 19th, as I now have to go to Ribex that day.

My plan now is to leave Southampton Water at APPROX 0930 Saturday 18th, tour the Island at fairly leisurely pace, and be at the Folly Inn for a Crew Pot mid afternoon time (ish).

In case of bad weather we will probably have later start, pootle around Southampton Water, then dash across to the Folly for lunch - weather permitting - or stay around the Hamble and probably visit the Jolly Sailor.

If anyone is interested who cannt make the Sunday trip, please let me know.

I will post final details on here Friday when I have a decent weather forecast.

Graeme

Hi Guys

If there is space on a boat sound like a great plan - is anybody else joining the Saturday trip?

we could pop into Bembridge to see how my RibCraft is comeing along....

Only me - Cath is at "Boats on Show" this weekend.

Where are you staying on Sat night?

How far is it from your launch site to RIBEX if going by RIB?

Maybe I should take TomKat to RIBEX to try and sell it

Anybody fancy a demo give me a shout!!

Jools

Hi Jools, John, Yvonne

We are stopping at Southamton City Centre Travel Inn, you are welcome to join us there.

As for the trip round the Island we are pretty full up. So i was thinking when Topaz & Tsunami rider get back (2-3pm) we could pick you up (id you want) and shoot across to the folly for a bite.

Give us a shout and let us know what you think?

If cannot get a lift with any other boats this would be great. Where would be a good pickup point ? As for stopping down will check with the boss tonight to see what we will be doing.

Graeme Johno Jools Scubakid - see you all at Ribex. We should be on the Humber pontoon or driving a boat most of the time. Must get to the Folly though to top up the fluids and prevent dehydration !!!
