I tow a windsurf board behind the rib, the kids can stand up on it and the adults have fun lying down on it.

If you have younger kids (seven upwards) or big kids (usually there parents!) kneeboards are also great fun and easy to learn

We still have an 'aquaplane' knocking about somewhere - a 5' sheet of ply that is semi-circular at the front and with a ski handle attached to it.

It used to scare the c**p out of me as a kid.

I got this with my new boat. Two person ringo, works great with one person & has an inflatable floor!

I have water ski/ringo/wakeboard etc insurance. Requires two people in the boat & only one person being towed for it to be valid.

Bought the 60" one last year - the kids love it - doubled skinned so it's tough -

Just beware the valve cap is not permanently attached - would be quite easy to drop / lose it when deflating / packing etc. Fine once you're aware of this.

You'll need a tow bridle as well - get one that floats which won't get caught round the prop.

The heck with a ringo, get a hydrofoil!

As far as ringo's go, if you are going to use it much a simple donut with a nylon cover will last a lot longer than a vinyl only towable. I got tired of buying cheap ones and picked up an O Brien with a nylon cover. It's 4 years old and still making the kids laugh.
