I've been thinking the same thing, normally there are pounds off in various magazines or in the local evening paper, but not this year.

The best offer I've seen are the following

1. If you are a member of the RYA then you will get a couple quid off the entrance fee.

2. If you go by train to the boat show then you will get a couple pounds off the boat show entrance.

Unless of course youre lucky enough to get some free tickets, anyone offering?

Park and ride this year is 8 quid.

Last year we drove to Hythe, parked in the public car park which was v. cheap, then purchased our tickets from the Hythe Ferry terminal at an extremely good price, can't remember exactly how much as I've been to sleep a few times since then! The ferry terminal in Southmapton is just a few yards from the show entrance.

yes train give you the ticket option for 12.50 instead of 14
if you are an oap you get in for 13

i think they are being tight this year, if you find an offer that is better let us all know

here is the scoop on the ferry

you can buy southampton tickets for 12.50 instead of 14

the ferry ticket is 3.70 return for day and 8.90 for family

sbs is 14 and park and ride is 8 per car

so if two of you it might be better to just go ferry and do park and ride if more of you, close call

Hythe Ferry price is 12-50 plus the ferry fare at 3-70 return.

I think the public car park in Hythe is free on a Sunday?

You beat me to it, Chris! Anyway, you forgot the "fun factor"... arrive at the show by boat! (And the ferry ticket includes the train fare along Hythe Pier

Although away for most of the show I can get tickets pretty cheap... PM and I will see if I can sort something out. Have a feeling I will only be around on Monday though.
A lot less than 1/2 price...
