nowt you say will change my mind on it, great little boat for where i live. it has probably done over 400 miles since i've owned it and not once has anything bothered it on the west coast up here.

only reason i want a new rib is i want something bigger with more oomph.

cheers

they have a superb product, I wouldn't be put off, by their "apparent" lack of interest, ring again.
None of that bodes well for good customer service. I've been round a couple of boat factories and they actually always seem pretty organised - whether thats because we were coming or they are always slick I don't know. Its just not efficient business to be any other way. Given the widely publicised challenges ribcraft have with aftersales (and have for a long time) I don't understand why they don't employ someone specifically to do this. Its probably the one serious criticism that gets levied at them.

Oi, stop using the B-word. You know nothing good ever comes of it.

That's not bad: where were you towing it to?- how's the trailer stood up to the miles?

He's not a bad lad, just overworked. Jason's OK & so is Charlie, it's the bit in the middle that's the problem

JK, you must be "mistaken" here's a quote from the ribeye web site:

Quote:
The Ribeye A600 LS Elite was the first in after 1200 miles at sea which is fantastic achievement. Not only was it at the top of the field the whole way round

Personally I didn't realise it was a race, and given the weather conditions you might well have said the prudent seaman was the one who realised his (or his boat's) limitations and dived into a safe haven early. Nothing to be ashamed of in doing that rather than ending up with half the Irish Coastguard and RNLI hunting for you - I mean that could be embarrassing, not only for you but also for your sponsors.

...unless you'd done that yesterday and therefore hardly an option today as your baby sister is a day ahead of you in the Barbie RIB
