I'm not sure of an RC535 - unless th tubes were ell overinflated.

If we're talking about 5.3 - them It's definitely not a "flat water leisure boat" but a very sea-worthy hull arguably more sea-worthy and tougher than many larger craft.

Depending on configuration an Opti 90 will be fine....however a 100 will be "better" - more power, WOT,quicker time to plane and improved cruising performance (IMHO without an actual test). If you have rear demountable tanks, I'd say they'd have a negative efffect on performance v. a internal central tank, just from a weight distribution standpoint.

If you have a forward mounted single console & jockey, performance will be different from twin console & 4 x single jockey, and the tanks being at the stern will have less negative effect.

You pays your money & takes your choice......I'd love to know if it's really a 535.

To be honest

It's highly unlikely that it is a 5.35 Its upside down and with no toobs I saw it about a month ago when I was last home. Its about the same length as an SR5.4 I'lll get an accurate measurement in a few weeks or even look at the transom plate.

Whilst I am still a diehard Searider Fan I think they are limited in there width, which compromises there use as a training boat this one is wide enough to get twin Consoles in which means the instructor can have easy access to the happy stick.

With a Searider you invariably wind up sitting on the tubes at some stage and that's not good for ones back long term hence the defection (albet from the Head and not the Heart)

The one thing I have noticed is the bow weighs a lot so it should counterbalance the somewhat Obese Happymax

In that case, it's probably a 5.45, like what Maximus had. Beamy boat, designed for the dive market.

Yeah its definitely beamy which is why I fancied it as a training boat so I ca put a side by side console in.

The front bit(bow) is extremely heavy been built very strong So I m thinking it will counterbalance the fattymax
