You might try Stuart McNamara at Hodson Bay Watersports, he runs the Powerboats.ie forum, they do stuff in fresh water not so far from you and it should be worth posting a query on that forum.

It may take a day or so for a reply

I work out by Blackrock. Always wanted to put the boat in at Dun Laoghaire. Haven't gotten round to it yet. Maybe this summer I'll trail her down from the black North!

I usually launch from Howth and it's a good clean slipway there.. I want to try dun laoighre too someday.. Plenty of parking over there too and it gives good acres to Dublin port, killiney head, dalkey islands amongst others!
