Nationwide doesn't recognise either the sort code or the account number
I'll try again tomorrow. Anyway, don't want it back; like the sound of a RIBNET social.

I think the best way to handle the donations /loans is once everybody is paid back who wishes to be paid back the rest is donated via just giving to Macmillan.

Any idea of big party with the surplus does not sit well with myself.

As business I would rather donate a few places on a Course that you can auction on here...rather give hard cash...

I agree, I'm willing to loan not donate the 40, as I've already donated a significant sum. Party the surplus... Be careful not to turn it into a paid jolly... I Remember "round Ireland" and a certain chap getting lambasted for similar.

Happy to donate rather than lend but not keen on the party idea with the surplus if any. Unless of course its going to be in Ireland :-)

Right then, like Round Isle of Wight this has to be completely credible. So no more talk of loans or parties, 100% of any donation is going to Macmillan Cancer Support via our Justgiving page:

http://www.justgiving.com/rib4macmil..._page_creation

We are attracting a lot of sponsors, one has even shared our thread on all their social networking:

https://www.facebook.com/Icomukfanpage

http://www.linkedin.com/company/icom-uk-ltd

https://twitter.com/icom_uk

http://icomuk.wordpress.com/

https://plus.google.com/108949095434700003867/posts

So this is no longer just Ribnet now as it now has a much wider audience that is being viewed via this thread.

If you would like to donate some money direct to Macmillan and get your message on here then please use our justgiving page

If you would like to donate some money so that we can approach a Marine dealer or private seller then Biffer has very kindly set up an account for you to do just that. If an engine and trailer is donated in the mean time then 100% of this money will go to into our just giving account.

Any parts that are donated and not used will be auctioned off and the money will go direct to Macmillan.

Please be mindful that potential sponsors are reading this and sharing this thread with their customers. In fact this thread should really be separated and we need to get back on track.

If we all pull this off (which we will) then I'll sort a party out to celebrate what we have accomplished and the rib and accounts will all be there for you to see

We can do this, it's what we do best

Right then let's build this boat

Biffer has kindly offered us his Custom Ribs workshop, please bring your own health and safety equipment like gloves, dust masks and goggles etc.

Here's Biffer's website: Custom RIB

I’ll bring the rib down on the Saturday for 10am so if you are coming PM me and I’ll send you the address.

We will be removing the console and working on cleaning and repairing the gelcoat.
