Registration of Pleasure Craft
Hi there..
Does anybody know the exact regulations that govern the registration requirements for pleasure craft in the UK?
For example upto what size boats are exempted from registration etc.?
Thanks
Shahid

There is no compulsory registration in the UK for smallish pleasure craft such as RIBs, and long may it stay so
The nearest that I know of is the CG66 scheme for registration with the coastguard, but that is entirely voluntary (but a good idea
)

Certain inland lakes / lochs will need registration. Lake Windermere & Loch Lomond being two famous ones.
