I had the unfortunate pleasure of having olmec tubes and i could definately Not Not recomend them. They were so bad even after he had a second go at refitting them .Eventually another manufacturer supplied after his were removed a good fitting set of tubes.I,ve no wish to start a debate only to inform

My comments have no reference to Pro Sport ribs as i know nothing about them and hope they are doing good business .They are purely to do with tubing and i brought it up on this thread because Olmec ,s work was mentioned

I havent heard the rumours you are talking about and the few tubes i have used and seen from Olmec has been great, i had a boat with Olmec tubes for three years and i didnt have one single problem during thoose years and the boat ran around 200 hours/year, thats why i am interested to know what sort of problem you had with the tubes.

In the interests of balanced views, I have nothing but praise for Olmec. My boat is entirely Olmec made and has not had one fault in 5 years, despite the harsh treatment it receives from me. Excellent boat all round.
