These look like they are taking the Met Office aerodrome forecasts (TAF's) - if you look at the "raw data" EGTE = Exeter Airport etc. If you want more detail then you can register (for free) at the met office website (http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation/ga.html) to view the forecasts in detail (with synoptic charts etc) - the cloud information might be interesting, but the freezing levels at altitude might not be

The met office marine observations at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/.../observations/ ,shipping forecast http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/..._forecast.html and inshore forecast http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/..._forecast.html are quite useful too (and you don't need to login for these) !

Hi, here in Scotland the weather is famously unpredictable. We mostly use 2 websites that breakdown the weather in chunks of a few hours or less, and find them very reliable. The websites that we use are:

[URL="http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/today.asp?zipcode=largs"]

[URL="http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=328"] a windsurfing site

hope these help
