There have been some vary valid comments made throughout the day, Cookee It was a pleasure to meet you & others, one thing you might have missed in your statement, was at the time of the Overtake/Reversing manoeuvre their was also a bloody great ferry manoeuvring out of his berth with bow thrusters at full blast & we were trying to hold station

I think that the main point of the weekend's events was that there is room for improvement. If this is to be come an annual event; I for one hope it dose, it will attract lots of people into the city & help promote Ribs/Racing Boats in general.

If the RYA is an Association for all, surely they must be seen to set an example for everyone to follow and not let these things happen again. Otherwise it is the sport that will suffer by Local Authorities not wanting to stage an event like this again.

As I said previously, it is for those people involved directly with the organising that should be looking at what went wrong & why, then learn from it.
