It's actually £34k and 2 years old..... I've told you a million times not to exaggerate!!!

The Ancasta one does look cheap. I would like to know the history though as the tubes look covered in stickers and that seems to be what commercial operators do.

The Scorpion does look very well specced and, I suppose, should be at that price.

We seem to have wandered off the original topic here and onto retained values.

What this does seem to prove is that both Cobra and Scorpion owners seem very passionate about their respective brands and will defend them to the end (unless they have had a serious issue with one).

I am fairly sure that, even though prices are substantially different, either will provide hours and hours of enjoyment.

You pays your money, you takes your choice.

I enquired about this rib in Nov last year and it was used as a tender to a racing yacht. Good high spec and low hours, a real good buy!
It took me a long time to decide Scorpion or Cobra as the cobra looked better value for money. After asking the very nice Ribnet people for their advice, i was persuaded to buy Scorpion.
Anyway who cares about that, If you like it, buy it. If it was a mistake then you know for next time!!
