Overall Covers.. on the water and maybe on the move!!

In line with the current theme of spending LOADS on my boat. I will be commisioning sanders sails to make a new overall cover. Has anyone got any pictures of covers that fit the boat WHILE moored on the water.....

I also considered if it was possible to have a cover that could run up to console and be used while underway in those cold months... ANY pictures greatly appreciated.

Custom made by northrop sails, ramsgate for use afloat.

Also designed to be used as a tent.

You will also need a bow dodger. Very very useful for dry storage in the bow, and securing stuff.

Again custom made by northrop sails.

Try this

I had this made up by Cover care at http://www.covercareltd.co.uk/ at Emsworth. I also use Ribeye covers which clip around the rubbing strake and can be used whilst on a mooring or whilst being towed.

The current boat (RibTec) has clips around the rubbing strake on the cover but i find they dont work when motoring.

I've a rather cheaper "tent" for this one which is a tarp and some bungee!! and have had the bow dodger made in "mesh" but unfortunatly i cant find a picture of the bow dodger.

The mesh suits me because its lighter and easier to store and you can see what is where throguh it.
