Hi - over 40hp does need the ICC. You can just stake the assessment in 1 day if you are confident with the content. I hired a boat last year. Great fun. Gets deceptively choppy with the wind from certain directions. We'll worth getting some local wind and weather advice if taking kids out etc.

Nice boat Jed, Ive just sold mine, with a 90 Etec, you'll have lots of fun with that. Mine with a ski prop, 6 up would happily sit just under 30 knots all day.

Ive been to Lake Garda, but I hired one of their boats. I go to Lake Annecy every year and can highly recommend. I need insurance, lake map, proof of purchase, international licence and ski flag. Im sure garda's not much different.

Cheers Oli.
Questions if I may.
Whats a ski flag and where do I hang it?
You refer to a lake map. I have a navman on the boat (not looked at it yet) so will there be a lake map on that or do you mean a paper version??
Whats a ski prop?
cheers pal. Jed
