On thursday last I had the privilege (along with another Ribnet member from Scotland who happened to be visiting Excalibur's yard) to Sea Trial Excalibur's newest 8.2m Rib fitted with 315hp Yanmar Diesel and Yanmar's new sterdrive.

She was delivered to her owners (also Ribnet members) in Northern Ireland over the weekend.

Below are a couple of clips of the launch (excuse the quality as I only had my iPhone) where she achieved 46knts on her maiden.

Excalibur 8.2 Sport

Some more photos of "Pendragon" and the first ZT350 drive fitted by Yanmar/Barrus in the UK. Excalibur Ribs in conjunction with Ribventure have been selected by Barrus to trial the ZT350 drive, more photos and info will be posted on our website shortly (www.ribventure.com).

Mike-m, Pendragon was in Bangor marina on Sunday past (10 October).

Excalibur Dealers

Just want to wish the Lads at Ribventure good luck with their new 820s Excalibur. They have taken on an agency for our Excalibur Ribs and the Sport model is an ideal demonstrator.

On Sea Trials fitted with the Yanmar 315hp and new ZT Drive from Yanmar the Rib had a speed of 47 Knots.
