new console

I have spent the day removing the console from the rib. A bastard of a job. Screw drivers and a hack saw blade and about 4 hours work. It took about 3 hours to remove the tacko , trim guage and the trottle lever.

I will need new trottle cables for the e-tec (longer) are these a special cables or a general item. are there better quality trottle cables and shite one? is there some makes that you can recommend

I'd use the Teleflex tfxtreme cables, which are the same as the BRP HE cables. Probably a bit OTT, but that's me

The cables come in 1' increments, you specify which version you want i.e. Evinrude/mercury/honda/yam etc & how long you want & they come with the correct end fittings.

4.8m = 15'8" so you are looking at a 16' cable, this is what you want CCX20516
