New Avon 620 finally arrived

After long awaiting we picked up the new rib yesterday and wow does it look good. Hopefully should go well too. Doing powerboat courses 1 + 2 over the next few days (freee with the engine) down in Chichester with Peter White so might see some of you out on the water.

Really nice outfit - still think the Disco 3 looks like someone's nicked the spare wheel though!!!

That trellis fence needs a coat of creosote, and the grass needs a trim. Dont take the boat out until the jobbs are done

just finished the level 2 powerboat course with many thanks to our instructor for the two days, Peter White. In total we got 6 hours on the engine so 4 hours till its run in. The weather held out nicely and on a speed run we got 42.7 knots after about 3 hours running. Its a bit over propped so will change that in the near future. But i would just like to emphasise my thanks to Peter White at Seafever who gave us such a good experience.

That outfit looks a bit much for a Disco. I'd imagine that the clutch was shot and the transfer box was hanging out by the time that you got home!!

nah not quite, pulled it up the slip no probs no slippage, had no problems with the disco to date!
