New Avon

Hi just lookin at possible new ribs, has anyone heard any speculation about a possible Avon 6.5 adventure open coming out this year???

Hi. I to looked at the new avons but have since gone for a Humber. I have not heard about a 6.5 but there is a change to the adventure range to be launched at the southamton boat show 06 as i understand. I was told that the main changes are an extra chime in the hull and a change to deck, possibly a deck moulding, outhills have told me that the a frame they were making for the 620 will no longer fit the new model so is now discontinued, so a definate change to the rear of the deck.

I had a nice job of driving two of the new Avons a 7.6m and a 6.7m ( i think ) for there press launch and photo shoot, One had a pair of Opti 115's the other had a Pair of Opti 150's on. Very nice boats, took the press people out in them for 4 days, great fun and i got paid for it!! I like my job!!
