need a single floorpiece replacement for a Bombard C3

Hi all, lost an aluminium floor piece (second form the stern) of a Bombard C3. Seems it fell overboard into a murky, sludgy river, and my first attempt at scuba-diving to find it, has been fruitless... Any idea where I might get a replacement? Second-hand would be good, as the RIB is quite old and worn, but it is, none-the-less, a really good, old faithful, and worth keeping running... Anyone out there who can help?

Yeah, that's true. Problem is, the tide pushes quite hard in this river... It might have travelled further than I imagined a heavy board like that would...
And not sure in which direction. More scuba, I guess...

Missing floorboard

Ok, so it turns out that these aluminum floorboards float. I threw another one in to see it's sinking pattern, and hence made the discovery... Less chance of finding it now, it could be out to sea by now and on its way to China, so hoping I will find a replacement...

I think your best bet is to do what you're doing and keep asking around, there's bound to be an old C3 lying about somewhere. You could make one from plywood but you'd need to have some sort of matching edge made up. You could possibly move the stern board forward and match to its stern end. Did you try Bombard/Zodiac, you might get lucky. Where there's a will, there's a way.
