I fitted a pop top roof on a camper using these rivnuts so I still have the tool, but not the size you need, think the biggest insert I have is M8 I used for the gas struts.

If you think this method is strong enough I could see if I can get the right insert.

I'd have though you'd want to increase number of bolts from 4...

The Inserts have to be Stainless M10 which will give a spanner size of 17mm.. after doing some searchin around, no one does 1.5 inch long versions. im assuming the Deck is 1 inch thick??

You will need a really good floor for these to hold. If you do get them in satisfactorily they won't stay there long. Tell me if your console has lip on the inside or out
