Got some on one of my sibs. I'm happy to try it on them if you want to mitigate the risk.

Make sure you use gloves, Cillit bang products are fantastic for removing skin!

HG mould remover is fantastic stuff, but haven't tried it on tubes... It's nasty as hell and will eat through mould in now time, but you'd want to try on a patch piece first!

Looking at the stain on the yellow tube, I would suggest that the cause maybe the cover that you have. Not suggesting for one moment Biff that you would use an "inferior" PVC fabric for the cover, but if it is made from PVC, and the sun starts heating the surface of the cover up, it will naturally "sweat" a bit under the fabric. Plasticisers can then leach out of the PVC fabric and if in contact with the Hypalon tube fabric, can cause the staining in the Hypalon. It is difficult to remove the staining.

I had them on my scorpion tubes. Right in all of the dimples in the fabric.

Never found anything to get rid of them and they got more prominent over the ten years.
Eventually I got rid of them where the outer layer of hypalon started peeling off after 15 years in the sun.

None on my new tubes :-)

I had them on my yellow caribe. I found Softscrub worked well. It's a thick bleach based kitchen cleaner here in the States. The bleach did it but the paste format worked better to keep it in the right place

Oh ok so the best answer so far is to leave the tubes for 15 years until the hypalon peels off. They do say time is a great healer!!😝😝😝

Cover is breathable and I got the black spots with no cover, I have found some gear to shift them and I'm thinking of marketing it, I've spent countless hours testing different stuff so I'm probably looking for a little payback, I think that's not to unreasonable

Well done on the Spot Reducing Cream Biff - shame it came too late for Gotchi. I can't decide whether to:
  1. Congratulate you
  2. Order some
  3. Hit you for Trade membership
