It's that time of year again, so I dug out the lifejackets, which I know need the re-arm kits, as the current ones have expired. The lifejackets, Seago Auto, (180N) use the standard 33g air cylinders, but I was genuinely surprised at the cost for re-arm kits, with prices ranging from £17 each, which is fine for one or two, but I have four.
The air cylinders are perfectly serviceable, so I didn't need to replace, I just needed the auto cartridges and spare clips. Ordered them from marine warehouse which arrived today. Good price with each unit at £8.99, however by the time you pay George's 20% and postage, it's £45 all in. Worth a look if yours need renewed.
