Cheap advertising!Given Ebay's current rip-off prices can you imagine the bill if Lee sold a new boat on there?

Yes - they should have been included for free when you sold the product.

5@£4 for ten days on ebay, and none sold.. I would guess they don't like them enough to pay that much for them..

Personally I wouldn't sell any branding items....after all, if someone sticks one of your logos on a home built shed, other people are going to jump to the incorrect but reasonable assumption that you build sheds...

A brand image is something easily lost and very hard to regain...hold on to your brand assets come what may....

Do you think I can buy a scorpion or revenger sticker if im not own a product from them?

This is not goodwill for your brand to selling stickers to people without your products. If i own a company like leeway i should NEVER sell my stickers to everyone. Badwill....... But its your company!

Why are people on this forum having a discussion about wether someone sells a sticker to promote HIS product on ebay? Doesnt freedom of choice come into it? If someone works hard enough to have a successful business in this red-tape ridden country, then surely its up to them how they promote it? Doing it on ebay means its easier than answering the phone just for a sticker! I think posting thoughts on wether a sticker should be sold over the internet is a bit trivial?

As opposed to posting thoughts on wether people should post thoughts on wether a sticker should be sold over the internet?

or maybe we could post our thoughts that it should be spelt whether and that spelling it wether gives the post a very different meaning. They're also known as eunuchs in Wales.

I think this is just another thread that was started to have a dig at Leeway. Why not let the guy get on and promote his company any way he sees fit?

Who gives a rats arse what he does with his stickers to be fair.

Fair point - but also, if we've helped the guy's business by warning him about the perils of people degrading his good products by putting badges on crap, a point he may not have thought of, then surely that's the mutual help basis on which all of Ribnet works?

I know I've often thought "didn't realise that" when reading a posting, and it may have helped me not make an idiot of myself at a later date....

Alpina will not supply you any of their badges and or logos unless you can supply them with a genuine Alpina serial number. This stops all the chavs sticking them on 316i
