Launch and recovery by crane of Avon SR4/water ballast

I just purchased a 1979 Avon SR4 and I have a few questions for the more experienced here.
My Yacht Club has a crane/hoist and I plan to crane the boat in and out of the water. Can anyone here advise on a 3 point or 4 point lifting harness? What are the lengths of the legs that you use? What do you use as the forward attachment point(s)?

How do you deal with the water ballast? is there something I can add to close it off just for hoisting and then add a pump? or do I simply hoist it up until the water starts to drain and then let it clear before lifting all the way up and over to the trailer?

This is a deluxe (1979) model that has had the steering and seating removed. Its going to be a dive boat mainly so I will likely power it with a tiller and forgo any built in seating. Not sure if I should remove the bow cover or not. I am thinking a 30hp but there is a good price on a TLDI 50 floating around locally so might try that.

Advice and comments appreciated.

Congrats on getting a great RIB, they are amazing

I can't comment on lifting points but the water ballast is straight forward, as you say - lift it a little so the hull drains and then a little more so you are happy it's clear. Won't take long if you lift from the bow to give it a tilt
