I know the Dutch have had a great influence over the centuries in Hull but stood in some of the older parts of the Town even today with some of the newer buildings around it gives the feel you could be stood in Amsterdam or somewhere else in Holland ,
Also remember being shown in the mid 70s one of the very first early (pre )Tornado hulls when they had their roots in a large garage in Horsforth Leeds before they moved over to Hull ,, also remember David Haygreen saying to me old man that ribs are going to be a big part of the boating world in the future & some of his brilliant ideas that seemed a world away in those days .
