It might be if B&O wasn't so utterly useless.

Couldn't follow the link
so went straight to B&O and found the Ocean pro listing,
Then couldn't get onto it!

managed to grab this

Humber Ocean Pro 6.3m
Ref: PAA26571 Price: £17,500 Make: Humber Ocean Pro 6.3m Built: 2006 Country: United Kingdom Location: Edinburgh Advert Placed: 7 days ago Fuel: Petrol

Excellent condition. Rib built Nov 2006, engine fitted March 2007. Not used before March 2009 and less than 50 hrs use in total. Cat B graded (commercial spec). Economical and great in all conditions - well cared for and maintained. 5 compartment 1600 Dnr (upgraded) Hypalon tubes with relief valves....

That of course is only the preview bit.

Ah, got the rest, engine looks like a large newish mariner EFI.

with relief valves....... Dual cruise console. 2 deluxe jockey seats & 2 front bench seat. Mariner 100Hp efi 4 stroke March 2007. 2 x 70L fuel tanks. Electrics: Nav lights. Electric bilge. Icom M-421 DSC integrated radio. Lowrance HDS-5 Chartplotter/fishfinder/GPS unit with NMEA 2000 network. (Radar compatible). Bramber braked trailer with flushable hubs and spare wheel. Easy to launch/recover 1 person. Contact for more photos. Sea trial by arrangement.

Nah, it's because B&O are useless and the site is up and down more than Alex Kingston in Moll Flanders.

So apart from b+o being as much use as a jelly prop does the humber seem a good buy ?

Looks in good nick but the fit-out is fairly basic for £17.5k. Only 2 jockey seats, a small plotter and a vhf.

Odd that the hull was a year old before the motor was fitted and another 2 years before it hit the water.

Also odd is the twin tanks on a single engine install. Sounds like a possible cancelled order for a rescue or similar boat (1600d tubes and twin engine config) and got sold off as is.

I'm guessing performance won't be startling with 100hp on a 6.3.

Personally I'd be looking to get a good 2-3k off the asking price

Edit: here's what else you can get for the same money

Thanks Martini , my wife and i had it out for a spin yeasterday and it seemed ok power wise for our needs there was a big swell and about three ft waves and it took this with ease . it is in imaculate condition and has been well looked after and the engine has only done about 50 hours .

We are still giving it some thought .
