The seller claims that he had it designed for him, and no reason to doubt that... but the 80mph claim is a bit of a tall story!

We're not actually going to take the claims of an E-bay seller at face value are we? If it was custom designed and goes for close to its starting price it would appear to me to be a bargain (compared to the cost of design and production of such a mould) - and you could easily recover the investment in a year (so long at you turn out boats faster than Codprawns prosport!).

The speed claims are a little OTT, perhaps km/hr rather than mph?

"Hi the plug was made by a boat builder designer in Herne bay Kent, I designed it with help from the phantom 21 race hull which was sold oversea's when the company folded, The only changes as far as I am aware are to the stern of the vessel (hull) to allow high rise minimum drag on excellaration, but allowing stability by changing the outer chines, Does that sound good or what??????? honestly alot of time an effort went into this and I have had alot of people congratulate me on the design, please feel free to come take a look, It truley is the dogs."

If the tubes sit on the flanges so the flange is directly underneath the tube, what happens at the back of the boat because the transom vertical flanges are to far out. 5k for a splashed mould, he is having a laugh. The old Prosport moulds were up for 2k recently.
