That looks a possible, adding Shearwater to the list, hull looks a little more serious as well and I like the wrap around cockpit.

Is a leisure Rib ever the right choice ?

Though you could buy a 7.5m rib for 20k ish and get a new console etc for 10k

Interestingly these guys for out shearwater and do retro or refurb work so could probably help you!

Drop a console in to another boat provided it fitted.

Thats a possibility, but the problem seems to be the width of the console, it just wont fit in 'real' ribs without having to walk on the tubes to get round it.

You'll need to go bigger, and spend more. It's like the old house scenario. I want that house but in a the other location. Get your wallet out. Then....

Not a cabin per se, but a big console with small loo and v berth to hide from rain/snooze. The console also wraps around a bit and often have a folding cuddy arrangement off the top. Then a big comfy bench at the back. They're about the 7-8m mark too so not stupidly big.

I think they're great in layout. Never been on one though. I'd imagine your 30k would get a second hand one. ???
Yes, there are in fact quite a few consoles around with a heads incorporated. I rather like those Shearwaters, with a bit of a stretch they would do it for me

Forget full cabin rib, they're big dollar. For a loo only, you ought to be looking at the 'fat console' type. A Shearwater is a good shout, they're not mega bucks used and an able hull.

I'd rather have a small v berth and portaloo when family aboard.
