Insurance..may be of interest!

Just had to renew the insurance on 'Mr Jingles' and told the broker about uprateing to 130hp[from only 75] I thaught this may have caused a problem,or at least put my premium up.The hull on my 5.45 is only rated at 75hp[officialy]this was specified in 2002,and because the 545 is only special order now Ribcraft have not paid the fee to have the hull upgraded,unlike the 530, now rated to 100hp and the 585, now 150hp!
Anyway,the good news is because the new engine is no heavier,and the boat will not exceed 50kts there is no problem, and I'm even paying a little less.
Incidently,the boat realy handles the e-tec well! and makes for a well balanced set up.
The broker is 'Craftinsure.com' and everything is done online.

Sorry me old China!Only renewed today! Dont tell me the Honda is going?? especialy now the props been 'race tuned' !!![Hope they've done a nice job!]
