Inland lakes

Hi all, I do alot of wakeboarding kneeboarding etc at sea but I want to have a camping trip away and was thinking maybe go to a lake where I could take my boat. I know you can go to some but need a drivers waterskiing certificate what I haven't got, iv been doing this for years at sea and don't really want to do one just so I can have a weekend away.
If anybody knows anywhere in England I can do this i would be very grateful.

Hi, Unfortunatly there is a speed limit on all lakes in England of a max 10mph but up here in Scotland boaters are welcomed not discouraged so there is no speed limit. All that is asked is that people show respect for other people using the water.

Windermere has a 10 mph limit but during the summer evenings after the wardens have gone home as long as you aren't a muppet...

Also In East Yorkshire are Welcome to Billabong Watersports, Camping and Caravan Park in East Yorkshire. I've never been but I may go for a look this year.
