Humber Ocean Pro's

There's been a lot of good feedback about some of the larger Humber Ocean Pro RIBs on the forums of late however, there has been very little mention of the smaller craft in the range....

The opportunity has arisen for me to possibly purchase an Ocean Pro in the 5.0 to 5.5m bracket and i was wondering if anybody out there has any experience, good or bad, regarding these craft.

If possible, i would appreciate some info. on build quality, handling, performance, seakeeping qualities etc etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Thanks for the info. What size hull have you got and what do you mean by checking the quality of new hulls? Have you had problems with yours?

Do you by any chance have a picture that you could post of your setup?

Cheers

hello

hello there, i believe i may have been the one posting a forum earlier about the ocean pro 6m+ models, and was interested to see what responses you would get from your posting, but unfortunately there doesnt to have appeared to be much response, i will soon be taking a trip to see the humber boats so i can assess for myself their build quality, finish etc. one thing i think which is not in doubt is the ability of these boats, only last summer i saw a 5m humber in scotland in not very favourable conditions and it was coping fine the driver giving the boat a bit over power through the rough, too uncomfy i thought to try in my current 4.7m zodiac pro 9 man, which i am currently selling to go for the bigger humber...
