Hey Nugent, if you get wind of a 6mt that needs a bit of TLC (and would look good with twin e-tec 90's) give me a shout, you can't have them all to yourself!
Know of a 6 mtr destroyer hull old no tubes or trailer

Well when you wasn't looking I took a week off and explored the limits (scared my self silly) and put some hours on the engine.
It was like that memorable line from Jaws, 'We're gonna need a bigger boat'

The SR5.4's are great but I have come down from a 6.2m and there just doesn't seem to be 'any substitute for cubes' (cubic inches). anyway this is Nugents thread.....

glad to hear you're feeling better Edd, take it steady on this one, sounds like it's fit for the scrap heap but no doubt you'll have it sorted soon enough

Bit disappointing to read this about Humber.
They retubed Merlin a few years ago. Tubes still look great
and no issues.

Anything on the right side of 6m needs a pair of 115s, not 90s & if you're putting 115's on, you might as well go the whole hog & put 130s on it

So how can you find out if the under deck of a rib is laminated or not "without" drilling the thing!

Plus, if it isn't laminated is there any recourse to them?
