I'm sorry but this was foreseeable and very preventable. IMHO the organisers should have put some preventative measures in place.

On the several photos, just out of shot was my RIBTEC 585 with a ball fender over the bow to prevent this! It appears that some people assume that the sponsons on a rib are actually fenders, very expensive fenders at that. I get very p@ssed off with people thinking they can tie their gin palace up to the handles on my tubes or just bounce me out of the way.

It is quite appaulling that such cr@p expensive mooring was provided for this event but in defence of the organisers, the event was a disapointment so one should not expect that the berthing would be good!

Bruce...I saw this and thought of you

A front bumper fitted to a very tasty coastline rib.
The fabricator concerned said he could fit one to most boats.
