Very true - but the advantage is you can use a new one every trip!!!

Seems like somone stole my idea - they now sell condoms for keeping your phone in - but they just don't offer enough protection..........

If your phone is also a Pocket PC those should also protect it from any viruses. Less messy for Palm users as well.

Hi
Just found out something new to me. Had a 4 month old M/rola razor phone fail on me. When claiming warranty the first thing they asked was "what is the colour of the little dot next to the batery connector" This is a moisture sensitve dot that changes from white to yellow if it has been wet. They warned me that if the returned phone showed yellow then I would be billed the full retail cost of the phone( $134.00). Fortunately, it is white. Cannot complain though. the local AT&T store replaced battery and SIM, FOC and it did not fix problem. Data from old SIM was copied to the new one. Got to keep the new and old stuff. Then used the spare SIM to unlock a spare phone.
Now I have a spare phone I can dedicate to the RIB just by swopping the SIM. Great deal.
