honwave T 3.2 airfloor problem

I have a Honwave T3.2 and when I try and inflate the V airdeck the air starts to come back out at about 0.40 so I can't get it much past this towards the 0.80 needed for a solid floor. The valves look ok, I've cleaned them and they don't leak from the side just straight back up the tubing of the pump. Anyone any ideas? Thanks Andy.

Hello Andrew and welcome to the forum... sorry your first post is about a problem.

I'm not totally sure I know what you mean... is the air floor leaking at the rear... or are the valves passing by back up the pump hose?

David

HI David. Thanks for your reply. Basically I start pumping up the high pressure floor of the honwave and when I get to about 0.40bar the air starts to come back out the valve. Its not leaking around the side but through the middle of the valve. Its possible that the valve is damaged, just seems a bit strange as its happeneing on both valves. Doesn't happen with the actual tubes of the boat which makes me think the valves are slightly perished and the high pressure is forcing the airback out.

Have you got the (Halkey) valve in the open or closed position? Leave it open, centre pin pushed in and twisted clockwise. The close, push down and twist centre pin to left for final high pressure pump up.

Valve should be open to get majority of chambers full of air, then closed to top up

Do not inflate one tube to high pressure with the others empty, baffle will pop or risk of. Inflate one by one to a similar pressure
