Tells you something doesn't it. When i was looking for a Scorpion, i had a look at this when we were in Cowes one day. Its always been in the water or most of the time, tubes faded not much electronics. However what it really needs is a good home.

I think if someone wanted it , it would go cheap now.......or it will continue just to sit there

I know that rib its just down from mine, Tubes have been cleaned seat reupholstered, she does get a fair bit of use by the owner (property developer)

she is always for sale at the right price, he has had alot of probs with the engine and i beleave the rib was originaly purchased for racing . Jim at Bembridge outboards knows the history better

I had a look at that boat last year when was looking to buy. Cracks in the sole aft of the jockey seats. After the "fantastic build quality" quotes that seem to come up for Scorpions it put me off it.

Yes have a good look, whilst there are issues it depends on what price you can get it for. My scorpion needed a bit of TLC, i got 4k off the asking price to take account of this....most boats like this need a bit of TLC and love.

Remember if you need to get bits from Scorpion, they are not cheap
