Looks very good Wonder how the wifi integration will work though...
Seems to say everywhere that it integrates with the "Garmin marine network" rather than the plotter itself so presumably a wifi module that plugs in

He's good, but not that good

Edit: definitely need to plug in some sort of wifi module, not sure if it will be NMEA2k or GMN

Right at the end they mention live GPS data being on the chart but only from the iPad GPS, not streaming nmea data from the network which is doable already. Shame but still, I'm looking forward to this, at least I won't need to be chopping and changing sd cards every two minutes

Just been released but 2 months until delivery, the app looks fantastic, and I think that it will be $199 (hopefully $80 if you read carefully) well spent come springtime
