Fishing pots in the solent

Has anyone notice the rather large amount of fishing pots that have started to arrive around the mouth of beaulieu river and lepe ?
Does anyone regulate the use of and position of these as I noticed tonight they are literately going across the mouth of the river and also very close to some moorings at the entrance to the river !

A friend put one in near Beaulieu and it was found a few days later on bramble bank.

Fair.

I reckon my 'stick it where no-one goes and use a small float and a lot of weight' formula is probably spot on then.
