Enginer hrs

Hi

its been quite a while since i was here but i may have found a protector rib i like, i have two questions i would like views on please

a) the boat in question is a protector 8.5 meters with 2 115 Yamahas on the back, i know i will need to try it out, but it maybe is a little under powered?

b) the two 115s have 1100 hrs on the clock, i suppose it depends on how often it was serviced, but is that high and nearly the end of there lives?

Jim

If they have a good service history then should go on for years, as to being underpowered it dose sound it but testing it would soon tell you.
indaba1991 has one with twin 150 on it

RIBase
1100 hours is peanuts. I'd rather it's been used regularly than sat doing nothing.
