End of an era

Dear all

I am sure they are already lots of stories flying about so thought I would let you all have the facts.

After 7 years of loyal service I have decided to leave Icom for new pastures.

I resigned on Thursday and as with these kinds of moves am now on 4 weeks garden leave.

I am moving to another radio company but at this time can not say who.

I will be around and will still be happy to help with your radio type questions where I can.

On wards and upwards!!!

Best regards

Jon,

Good luck with whatever you are moving on to - I hope you enjoy the new challenge, and can provide a fresh approach. If you handle questions/comments even half as well as you did on icoms behalf, the companyt you are moving on to will be lucky to have you.

All the best,

Jimbo

Sad news for us Icom owners! But wishing you all the best in your new job. You have told your Icom successor that membership of RIB.net is a condition of the post, haven't you?!

Will you be having a bit of gear out of the back door before you leave, and if so will you be Ebaying it or just word of mouth?

That's why they put dodgy characters on gardening leave!

Jon

Good luck with the new job.

I'll tell Keith Foot not to try getting past your new (old) phone system any more.
