Emailed him asking why he didn't have a photo. Basically he isn't arsed told me I didn't have the money to buy it.
Told him to look at my recent sold items ie the Jag for £4101. His reply was "go away filip"

Dannyboy Cooper listings have gone

Thanks for all the support lads, it certainly helped put a smile on my face!

Mr Cooper, you have disappeared from ebay, or rather outboardmotorunits has. Did you end the listing or was it ebay taking action?

You have a further £117 to put into your account in order to give me my money back?

So, do so!!!!

Please realise its YOU who has to put the money back into the account not paypal.

Instead of all the effort you go to with these emails which only make you look all the more stupid and having your name dragged through the mud why not just give me my money back.
Its not as though its actually cost you anything------ although judging by some of the other posts returning my money might be a smart move.

What an epic.

Hi from a newbie to SIB's, I just joined as I am coming over from the world of SOT kayaks.

I've just read this entire thread from start to finish and find it unbelievable that this guy is still trading. I think God I haven't crossed his path before now.

Are 'outboardspares.net' credible?

Hi

I've been reading various threads about a guy called Dan Cooper trading under various names including 'riversendmarine', 'outboardspares' and 'PC-Ink'.

Does anyone know if this is the same person as Daniel, trading as 'outboardspares.net' in Hampshire?

I am looking at buying and engine/part from him, but have had problems contacting him - his 0800 number diverts to a mobile voicemail. So before I part with any cash, I'd like to be sure that this guy is legimate.

Thanks, S.

Looks a bit more professional than Mr Coopers eBay efforts.
It looks as though you can pick things up in person too.

Might be worth waiting to see what one of the local lads say?

There is an ad on 'boatsandoutboards' for an engine (http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/F210118), and it turns out it is the same guy from 'outboardspares.net'. On this ad, the address is listed as Hampshire???

Is this Dan Cooper?

Well, http://www.Outboardspares.net is listed as being at Dan Cooper's address. I somehow doubt the engine is in Hampshire if it's him.

It also appears the domain has only just been set up-it's still showing as 'For Sale'.

I like your style biffer,
Unfortunately sometimes the only way these people can be dealt with properly is "face to face"

He obviously has no regard for the law or anyone else for that matter, and to be honest I am disgusted with ebay and the other companys for letting him carry on trading, including restarting up in a different name.
