Does anyone know of a decent launching facilities in or near Eastbourne? No dragging up or down shingle required. ta

You could try boatlaunch.
There is supposed to be a version on rib.net, but it is not working for me.

Thanks for the heads up. Seems to be a problem with the embedded version of Boatlaunch. I've sent them an email and should have it sorted soon with a bit of luck.

As for Eastbourne, off the top of my head the nearest slipway is probably Simpson Marine at Newhaven. I'm pretty sare there isn't a slipway at Sovereign Harbour.
